For Access Virus users

I have a virus-c and have always been looking for a vst/au plugin that will work to control my hardware unit. I wanted to share what I came across the other day and it seems to work really well.

Virus A/B/C CTRLR
Works great so far in Logic.

They also have a panel to use for virus ti users that wish to use midi/analog outsCtrlr

Some are still in beta like the Roland Jp-8080 I'm using. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how these panels work, but I thought I would share these for those looking to control your hardware units.

I have the Rekon plug for the virus, it never worked - and only works with a limited amount of sequencers. Maybe it works on Renoise now since Renoise had a bunch of updates.

I've tried CTRLR but didn't work at all for me. It seemed to reserve MIDI resources which made then inaccessible in Renoise which in turn meant Renoise couldn't communicate with the Virus.

I bought the Rekon plugin a few years ago and it was one of the worst investments I've made lol. I'll be glad to help you set up the ctrlr if you run into trouble.

Thanks for the link. I haven't used my Virus B much since I got it, but will.

hows the c compared to the TI in quality?

i never used the b or heard it

I have played with the TI for a few hrs,but not enough to get a real comparison. I have read on a few forums that the C still sounds better than the TI. It would be nice for someone to shed some light on that.

Interesting, will try this for my Virus B. I'll still be held back by my PC dropping midi timing for hardware as the CPU goes up though.
No cure for this other than a new studio PC and bits.

Just started messing around with this. It's great except there's no support for MULTI/SINGLE mode which means there's no per part output select. How this can be the only function missing is beyond me.
