2011.11.23 [SFL] Steve Angello returns to Space, Thanksgiving weekend event

Just saw this today..

I know there are a lot of Angello haters on here, but I have ALWAYS had an epic time with Angello on the terrace. Pretty sure the last time he played at Space he played until almost 10am. I will be there.

ugh that night was such a sardine can. for that reason alone i refuse to go to this.

i dont think i will ever go see a steve angello solo show every again. not after NYE @ roseland ballroom in nyc last year. he repeated at least 5 songs. some of those were played 3 times.

edit: actually i dont even understand. theres a ticket from 4pm-11pm for underage kids. and then another ticket from 11pm to whenever for 21+. hes not gonna do two different sets is he?. so wtf is this? bullshit marketing? or what gives?

Really? the entire NYE set was broadcast live and the tracklist doesnt show anything like this. Other than some different mashups that were used. His set for NYE did absolutely suck from a program standpoint. One thing is for sure, it wasnt prerecorded as there was lots of trainwrecks

His set at Governors island this year blew me away, it had tons of energy.

Space did this with PVD one time, except it was not on the terrace.

All age party was from 6 to 11 and the 21 up party was 11pm till late

PVD had to play two different sets and Edgar had to open twice. At 11pm they closed the club down and reopened it all over again after everyone was kicked out. It was really weird actually. The only highlight of it was he played Y.O.U. and Dreaming in one of his sets. I think it was November 2004


There was no drinking and no smoking allowed for the all ages show.

I think it was this type of double booking that made pvd leave space

The all age party then the 21 up party
the Cameo set then the space terrace set
The back to back WMC set was probably the last straw

Steve Angello sucks!
