rank 1 are fucking shite recently, 'nu nrg - dreamland (rank 1 re-edit)'was total shite, no nrg no nothing; the track lacked everyhting!!! most of there new albums wank, they couldn't do a remix of 'ligaya', i want the old rank 1 back, the new one is shite, they better supprise me with there new remix!!!!!!!

rank 1 was one of the first trance artists i ever heard, the old rank 1 is how trance should be!!!!!!!!!!

umm... Nu-nrg - dreamland rank1 re-edit is good for me...
but yeah I prefer the 'old style' of rank1, songs like Airwave,Far Away remix or let me be yoor fantasy remix were really amazing!
We have to wait for more new remixes that will come like The Sounds Of Love!

I think they need to start punching out more singles. For being a major trance duo, Rank1 sure hasn't released much. 4 singles with a handful of remixes :|

They need to do full releases of Conspiracy and Passage to the Unknown.

They're ok.
They've always been a bit commercial... as much as I and others love them.... Airwave and Such of Life have always had a bit of a commercial side to them, compared to most other trance music.

Don't mean they're not good though, but their album seemed to be even more commercial...

I love Rank 1 and yeah, I've been a bit disappointed with their latest work but I realize that not every song can be an Airwave. If they stick to that formula, pretty soon they will be another Darude with every song sounding the same.

I think that Rank 1 are great! Sure, the re-edit of Nu Nrg- Dreamland isn't all that amazing...but their old stuff (eg. Airwave) is brilliant!

Rank 1 is great, they released some really great Tracks like Airwave, Such is Life or Black Snow and their new Album Symsonic is also very good - i love their style!

You can probably put Rank 1's career so far in two phases:

Airwave:They create the single greatest piece of music in the past century.

Post Airwave: Kind of off again on again. Such as life is ok and Awakening is pretty good (I haven't heard Symsonic yet) but their remixes are kinda sub-par to average.

Well, I think they're still great. Especially their live-performances (check them @ Sensation and Trance Energy!). I agree that they haven't made lots of tracks.
Yesterday I was at a performance by Rank 1 (Piet Bervoets), and it was great. He did play softer as well as harder trance, i like that.

Rank 1 are a great duo of producers, albeit that they have only really had two outstanding ch00ns they may be slightly overrated, however they have talent and their uplifting melodies are amazing, Airwave possibly the greatest song eveer made!
