Ezoo 2012 Tix Already???

Got an email saying they are selling early birds on October 24th.... The event isn't until next September. Early much

EDM is getting exponentially more popular; they can start selling tickets earlier and for more money and still sell them all. They're probably just following in the footsteps of Ultra, who started releasing information on Ultra 2012 like 3 days after Ultra 2011.

I am way too lazy to go back and look at old posts but anyone have any idea how much they were sold for last time during the early bird? If I recall correctly people were going as low as 250-275 for 3 day tickets days before the event- in other words if you are in it to make a profit you are not the only one with that plan. Looks like a lot of people got stuck with tickets in the end.

My early birds came out to $169 each ($129 + $40 fees... Give or take a buck since I probably added an extra dollar to my whole order for the charity or whatever, I can't remember and it wasn't a line item).

I also added ferry for $45 each later, not that that would matter if you were just going to sell the early birds.

Complain when tickets go on sale too early.

Complain when tickets are too expensive.

Complain that you didn't buy tickets when they first went on sale.

Complain.

I missed out on last year and definitely would like to be out there if its good as this years lineup. Im thinking ill get few extra tickets for friends and possibly sell one or two for a profit. This is if tickets are around same as last year...

There was definitely more supply than demand this year. I had a hard time selling my ticket for how much I bought it for and saw many people sell it for as low as the early bird prices.

If the early bird is any less than 200 I'll definitely be going.

I feel discouraged with trying to make a profit off of these tix way too many people seem to be onto the same plan.

I will probably get it for myself though.

I need a sugar daddy that takes me to all these things.

Too many things going on! I can only buy a few tickets a week Let's hope I magically come across some money on Monday morning.

I find that hard to believe. They were selling single day tix at the gate for almost as much as early bird tix. If people were selling their tix for early bird prices then they are not very smart. Also, Made did a perfect job playing the balancing act of supply & demand with the price. They had just about as many people as they could in that space.

He was speaking about resellers/scalpers and he's actually right on point. Plenty of 3-day passes were selling on eBay for $150-$200 on eBay during the week before the festival - bought 3 myself and pretty sure I saw Burak did as well. So many people bought tickets and couldn't go (who plans this far in advance?) that the market was so flooded with 3rd party tickets that it was hard to turn a profit.

I paid 140 the day before EZoo for a 3 day pass last year, way too many were being sold on ebay/cl. I even saw some being sold for 50 for a one day pass

On it! Haha. It's not working out so well, the guy I've been seeing wants me to go to Pacha for Tiesto with him, fml. Serious dealbreaker here. Anyone got some friends?

million dollar question: would you rather date someone who likes tiesto or skrillex? or lose one of your senses (sight, smell, sound, touch, taste)?

For a guy this is easy. Skrillex, they seem to be the type to have more daddy issues.

I love you dude, but you just made a pretty stupid question. Why would I choose when there are so many men out there? Esp some with pretty amazing music taste (I draw the line with DJs though, worst NY specimen ever). Whoever said that there is a shortage of men in NYC needs to start listening to electronic music, particularly techno. Go to any techno party and it's a sausagefest guaranteed (not all are dating material, but at least a girl can get laid if she needs to). I prefer to do my shenanigans outside of the scene: less drama, less gossip.
I'm giving the guy some more time to get into what I like, or at least to refine his taste a bit (I just passed on some classy trance to him, let's see what he says). If by January he shows no signs of hope, I'm going back into the wild. I know it's not too impossible though, I met the guy at a W+L party, so he's not totally set in his cheesy trance ways.

And I agree with what lounger said, girls that like skrillex def have issues, I can vouch. This is not a bad thing though, they are highly entertaining (as long as she's denied of being in charge of the music for like, EVER).
