Dj Mag Top 100
The annual Dj Mag top 100 party is taking place in Amsterdam tonight. I�m really surprised the results haven�t been leaked like in previous years. I�m really hoping but highly doubtful this year�s poll won�t be as disappointing as in years past. I have a feeling this year�s poll will be even more of a disappointment.
People will say that they don't care about the DJMag poll, but will bitch about how their favourite DJ should be ranked higher

Don't let the DJ Mag Poll be the judge of which DJ's you should go out and see...
This list is the most accurate list they have ever had, praise those neon people and there votes! We will see the rise of Pop Music in the EDM world! muahahahahaha

dj mag is not about music anymore it's a popularity contest!
the only people who should be voting in the DJ Mag polls are:
DJs(respected ones...not no DJ/producer wit 2 tracks on a soundcloud account)

It really is impossible to compare DJ's who play totally different styles of music to each other.
on one hand you have the purists who reject anything commercialized, poppy and played out. they will swear by DJ lists from the likes of Resident Advisor.
On the other hand you have the masses who eat up anything and everything DJ Mag throw at them.
How can you compare someone like Armin, Guetta or Deadmau5 to someone like Lawler, Carola or say Davide Squillace....
They play to different audiences and they play totally different sounds. I like the DJ mag poll but I do believe it is handled completely wrong. They should break it down into categories and the categories should be voted on by peers. Maybe some sort of central body like the Academy of motion picture arts and sciences?
