Yeah good call with LA being on the radar. I think Armin knows that if and when he returns to LA, he'll have to make it an Armin Only type of performance, meaning that its gonna have to be either a straight up Armin Only or something like ASOT 550. I'd prefer an Armin Only but ASOT 550 would be fine with me too, pending the line-up. Lets assume he wont be doing business with GOVentures anymore so yeah, it'll probly be insomniac. I just wanna see a marathon set, even if it happens to be Darude of all people!!

did it say 1st show or 1st announced? it says first date they can announce......so perhaps ultra again...who knows

The first date of the A State of Trance world tour we can announce is Saturday the 31st of March 2012. Again the world's largest trance event is being held at the Brabanthallen Den Bosch, the Netherlands. The most popular dance minded radio show worldwide has existed for 11 years now and for those who regularly listen to A State of Trance, know Armin is well informed on the latest releases in trance and all trance related styles. For his radioshow Armin keeps a close eye on new developments. Therefore he is one of the first to know about promising DJs and live acts that deserve attention in Holland. So even though the line-up of ASOT is a secret for the time being, it does not come as a surprise some very talented artists are going to be on stage, next to well-known headliners.

If Insomniac indeed brings ASOT 550 here, I wonder if it would be part of Beyond Wonderland or its own thing.

Luminosity Trance Gathering (Before ASOT 550) @ Panama Amsterdam



The winter has barely started or a new Luminosity Trance Gathering event is already there to warm you up!

On Friday the 30th of March Luminosity will start another promising year with an event in one of the most popular club in Amsterdam: Panama. After a sold-out Beach Festival at Beachclub Riche it�s time to make the next step!

Line-up
Two area's will be hosted. The line-up will be released in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile please feel free to drop your dj requests!

The Venue
The venue the Panama, an industrial monument, is located near the Central Station of Amsterdam and very easy reachable by public transport if you travel from Den Bosch or any other place you're staying at during this trance weekend. Trains in Holland run all night so no reason to miss this amazing event. Luminosity will make sure this Pre-party will be of Luminosity quality so lasers and visuals will be amazing as you are used to.

any possibilities of the lineup for ASOT 550 in LA? if you could personally select the dj's yourselves, who would you guys like to see? just curious

it'd be nice if they shut down the streets in DTLA like a few years ago and make it 21+..that'd be fun

Simon Patterson
John O'Callaghan
Orjan Nilsen
Super8 & Tab
Daniel Kandi
Aly & Fila
+AvB

Of course there's guys like Manuel Le Saux, Ferry Tayle, etc. that I would much rather wanna see but the above are some names that normally end up being on ASOT lineups. I dont think we will get to see any of the above though. It'll more likely be Garth Emery, Dash Berlin, Sander, Ferry, etc.

You got me! Haha..What I was trying to say is this would be my ideal lineup from the acts that do get the call for the ASOT shows. I would be pretty happy with this lineup but of course that doesnt mean 10,000 others would. And yes, I'm also quite young as you could probly tell. I just wanna hear trance (be it the 142 bpm, jesus pose and 2 min breakdowns) instead of sets from DJ's that are full of cheesey house suprises (Gareth, Dash, Sander, Ferry, etc).

ha, i was going to say "you're only young once so go crazy" but didn't want to assume

I'm there.. I just hope it's in the massive 2-story tent structure they've had there for the past few events. I can't see something this huge in a regular tent.

Unfortunately, they won't be using that structure as it will be in Miami for Ultra the next weekend. Unless they can find a way to transport it across the country in a week.

If you are talking about the "Carl Cox & Friends" stage that Ultra used last year for ASOT 500, I'm still having trouble understanding how that will fit in Bayfront Park. I go to Bayfront at least once a month and have been trying to understand how they will fit all these structures into this area with tons of trees, sculptures, and huge water fountain. Then again, you must know something I don't.
