Producing Made Easy - A beginners guide for FL Studio 9+
Hey,
I made a guide a long time ago but failed to ever finish it, so today I picked it up again and decided to update it and complete it.
It covers the aspects of what a Trance track requires of the producer himself and gives insight to the powerful, underrated DAW FL Studio.
It even has a few Mp3's to showcase and contains one of my quite old projects as well.
I would love to get some feedback on it or even some suggestions on what features I should cover as well.
At the moment it explains some of these subjects:
Basic use of FL Studio, setting up your personal workstation.
Basic knowledge about a Trance track
The use of Automation clips
The use of effects and how to EQ
Using the step sequencer and pianroll
Basic arranging and how to use the playlist
- I had a hard time to determine the ease of the guide, and what level to make it on.. But I think it would be a good read to some

How about mixing? You taking a complete track and showing us how you do your mixdown.
Most of those topics are probably already covered on Youtube.

| Originally posted by skyhunter Yea it could actually. Why would someone go to your video with 600 views when they could go to one with 500,000 views? You need to stand out really... |

I started to make this to show a few friends the main points on how to make and build a Trance track, this is completely focused on things you should focus on when making a Trance track - And I haven't found many good tutorials like that on the internet or YT for that sake. If I make a walkthrough video it's where I make it from the bottom up, probably taking 40 minutes or so - If speeded up.. |

| Originally posted by Beatflux That's not true, look at these videos: If you want to help people out, make tutorials that are of techniques or sounds that nobody has covered. Most of the popular genres and techniques have been covered to death. If you have some kind of alternative insight into making a track, it might prove beneficial to create a tutorial. |

I spent quite some time writing it and I would rather see it end up here where a few guys might even gain something from it than having it dwindle away in my already way too large porn library..? |
