Who actually is from Boston/NE Area?

Seems like Andy, Max, Mark, etc. are all gone from here. Who's left?

Posted by cl0wnz0r on Oct-31-2011 20:23:

think we've got about 5 of us left that still post. then again, "from NE" is even hard for me to associate with, since i only go to school here till next may.

I miss Axis big time. It's a shame Avalon and Axis aren't open anymore as I would have probably played there by now

I am a resident at The Phoenix Landing

YO! I actually created this because I have no access to facebook and gmail/yahoo at Fidelity Investments where I'm working now I get bored really easily on my down time haha. I used to come on TA much more frequently when I was at the hospital working but all those people have seem to have gone!

EDIT: I have the party threads to get people out to my parties

I'm still around, but not going nearly as much as I once was. These weekday parties aren't as feasible as they once were were due to work.
When we had Avalon and Axis, most parties were on a friday night - now, Boston is a holdover stop for most DJ's to make some money on a non-weekend night.

thank you KLM and Lufthansa. what would we ever do on a Thursday night without your discounted EU-BOS fares?

Dude there are plenty of djs coming into Boston on the weeknights because they are GOOD parties not just to make some money. They make no money compared to what they get on the weekends anyway! They don't bother playing weeknights unless it's a good party. There have been week night parties going on for years and years in Boston. The big name acts still come through as well still don't worry

I still check these boards quite often, don't really post much at all anymore though. (Used to a lot actually) I'm pretty sure we chatted on AIM a couple times like 6-7 years ago or something, but never have met

I still go out in the Boston area somewhat often, but don't make it down to NYC too much anymore ;/

This actually might be the first WMC I'm going to miss since 2001 Hopefully I'll make it down there for at least a few nights though

I haven't been to the WMC since 2009 and hopefully I'll be back down there again with a gig or two in 2012 It's just a really nice escape from the bullshit cold/snowy winter that's been absurd the last two years around here!
