Cool Visualiser Plug-Ins for Trance?

So I want to upload some music to YouTube and have some visuals go along with cool transitions and all.
I was checking out Trapcode Suite and was impressed with their plug-ins for After Effects but it is too expensive for me. I do have Premiere and After Effects CS5.

I s'pose I could just record the video out from iTunes visualiser but I really want to be able to play around with tempo-synced keyframes and transitioning, and the odd subliminal message.

What are your recommendations that don't break the bank?

That's actually a pretty good one, thanks for that.

I also like the ad for N.I.'s Razor, but I don't think it's a visualizer.

What you could do is download the game Audiosurf, and take a video of you playing the game. The game's visuals move with how the music moves.
