Sinead O'Connor - PVD Remix-I.D?
Its a tune he's been playing out recently, and I finally found out who it was by when I saw him last night. I was quite shocked actually coz I'm not her greatest fan but its undeniably a beautiful tune with some dreamy vocals in it.
Its got the lyrics "I'll always know your name" (or something along those lines) Its really really nice and there are classic PVD sounds in it, I just wondered if anyone knows the actual name of the track so I can try to find it. Yes I know I'll never get the PVD mix...
I'm not sure but i think the latest Sinead O Connor track that was running around was Troy
i am 99% sure he played this last night,, a track with a lot of vocal and classic PvD samples over the breakdown. but i dont know the vocal.
I know olny that PvD was making remix of Sinead O'Connor track.
Can't say anymore because I didn't listen to his performance at Amnesia
last night he played this track and it was FULL of vocal, but it didnt really sound like sinead o connor voice but who knows
it deffo had samples that are 100% PvD in it though.

NO NO NO NO NO!!! Mate it ain't the spell!!! LOL! It has got similar lyrics but its totally different! Its "I'll always know your name" not "I don't even know your name." I am familiar with the Spell and I have it on reliable record that this new tune is Sinead O'Connor - PVD mix.
BTW I noticed those bongos from Arctic too!!!
It's definately not 'The Spell' i've heard a sample of that and this sounds completely different. My guess would be that this is either this new Sinead O' Connor remix or his collaboration with Jan Johnson.
Yeah I have to say it doesn't sound all that much like Sinead O'Connor but thats what I got told. We'll have to wait and see...

I was just speculating...almost the same lyrics i gues...
No probs man I see where you were coming from

Gonna bump this baby ... My new thinking is that it could be a tune from her next album due Oct. '02 ...
i have seen the album tracklist, its not there

| Originally posted by thesuperfunk I have seen the tracklist myself but i don't think you can judge if it's any of those tunes just from the titles. Maybe it isn't a remix at all and she just supplied vocals to one of his new tracks ... |

Went to see PVD at Heaven on Friday and he played this Sinead O'Connor track, and he also played Arctic twice (as he seems to be doing a lot lately!!!) I couldn't help noticing how VERY similar the two tracks are. The Sinead O'Connor version is almost Arctic with different vocals. Maybe its a mash up
the two tracks are completely different, however he has used a variation of the Arctic 'cowbell' sample in the Sinad O'Connor track.
