Minimalistics - Struggle For Pleasure (Filterheadz remix)

Posted by Ian on Nov-04-2011 15:57:

This is very very trancey. Really evokes the state of mind that trance should.

Posted by Konijn on Nov-04-2011 16:56:

aren't they two brothers? best tune is Tomaz v Filterheadz - Sunshine. every dj (from tribal to techno to trance) was caning that track back in the day.

the last remix of theirs i liked was: Schossow & Sagstad - Svamptramp (Filterheadz Remix)

Posted by BlueSky on Nov-04-2011 18:08:

DJ Tiesto & Junkie XL - Obsession (Filterheadz Remix)
The Roc Project - Never (Filterheadz Dub) - sounds pretty much the same as Filterheadz vs. Tomaz - Sunshine
Filterheadz vs. Tomas - Los Hijos Del Sol
Green Velvet - La La Land (Zzino vs. Filterheadz Remix)
and Yimanya of course

Guilty pleasure...

MIKE - Strange World 2006 (Filterheadz remix)

This track is Filterheadz on steroids.

In my opinion, this remix of Strange World shits all over every other remix. Not on youtube, so good luck if you can find it.

Haven't heard this one for years, used to love this track. This was one of the first "progressive" tracks I really got into. Still sounds really good, actually:

is it just me or are all of the tracks in this thread more soulless than a dead body?

Do the lyrics in that Faithless track mean absolutely nothing to you?

for the first time ever, you can't be serious.

"more of that hum that lies between bass and drum"

you have got to be joking.

Matt, the whole idea of "soul" is fucking corny and stupid, so I'd say typical Faithless "more oneness, less categories" hippy unity lyrics are perfect. And then there's a Nina Simone sample - I thought black female vocalists were the epitome of humanity in your idiotic little world?

Not prominent enough for him to be able to fetishize it.

yeah only if the lead vocalist wasn't some poor man's john lyndon and had more of that black chick, maybe the joint would've pierced my soul.

Just noting that this is meant quite literally.

Not an ounce of sarcasm or irony.

John Lyndon? Do you mean John Lydon? Did you really just compare black Buddhist rapper Maxi Jazz to this man:

Posted by klappa on Nov-06-2011 19:55:

Actually i don't like most of these tracks posted here. Someone said anything about a Funk D Void remix on a Filterheadz track, didn't remember it. It was good though.

EddieZilker is the MAN. I don't give a rat's ass what anyone says. you are bar none, the greatest poster to ever register on TranceAddict. it's a compliment I don't dish out too often.

no one will EVER run down the great name of Eddie Zilker.
