PvD Fans: If you could have ANY ONE UNRELEASED PvD remix or re-work...
...what would it be? It would be in any format of your choosing, but you only get ONE TRACK.
For me, it would have to be Lexicon 4 - Reach Me, off the first TPOD.
It was a tough choice. Here are some of my runner-ups:
Michael Hills - Voices of Angles (PvD Rework)
Marco V - I Feel You (PvD Rework)
Underworld - Born Slippy (PvD Rework)
Project Zero - Omega Six (Paul van Dyk Rework)
Sigh, one can dream.
Second Sun - Love Simulator
Far too many to choose from, but his edits of...
Space Brothers - Everywhere I Go
Jonesy - Independence (The Stadium Mix)
.... are certainly some of my favourites.
Fortunately Paul still plays Independence at festivals, one of the few, if not only 'old edit' he still plays.
no doubt this
Best PvD track ever

Paul van Dyk - Another Way (Unreleased Demo Mix)
Blackeight - the silence
BBE - 7 days and one week
Warp bros - We will survive
man, how awesome was PvD back in the day - kudos above for Everywhere I go. what a fucking chooooooooooon.
In my mind he retussled the glorious Ridgewalkers and their centerpiece moment of music in Find only he made the Andy Moor bassline even MOORE like Andy Moor and in my mind it is just outstanding and should be released forever.

Would love to get my hands on a copy of Transformer 2 - Pacific Symphony (Paul van Dyk's Unreleased Mix)
Or if I can't have that then I'll settle for that unreleased remix he did of Lexicon 4 - Reach Me (not the TPOD version). Only ever heard him play it at Knebworth.
Memories ![]()
This is unreleased too, I think.

In all fairness it's probably not even as good as his TPOD version. Or as good as some of his other unreleased 'stuff' for that matter. But it's very sentimental to me.

Shit quality. Was immense live though
Fucking hell, just realised that was over 10 years ago. I'm getting old
I love his Secrets & Lies rework too, good old times.
What none of you have mentioned the Original re collected remix of BT - Remember released on number Perfecto promo's 100 issued mine is 015
As the later released version went by the title "totally re collected mix " in the double pack
PVD - Autumn , although Gnomus reconstruction is good

i would love to hear what his remix for Robbie Williams sounded like.
wish i had
The Space Brothers - "Everywhere I Go"
Fischerspooner - "Emerge" (Which was really the Daft Punk Remix with some of PvD's signature sounds)
Whatever this is
since we are on the subject of unreleased pvd tracks, does anyone of a rip of Avid City?
On the harder side, I've always loved his edit of DJ Cyglas - Roots of Evil (Techno Punk Remix)
This is the unedited version, Paul's edit doesn't contain the second breakdown and basically has his kick etc on it.
And who can forget his edit of Energise....
I remember fist pumping to these with you Mikey, at Godskitchen... about 8 years ago!
Not to forget the lovely Arte Intro ![]()
