Mastering Offers for TA
From now til Christmas i'm offering reduced mastering rates of 20 a track which includes free sample of your mastered track prior to payment. With further discounts on more thasn 3 tracks.
http://www.hinotestudios.co.uk/index.php/gear-list.html
email me on [email protected] and don't forget to mention you saw this on TA
A : posting a satellite image where you keep all your stuff is not the smartest thing.
B: Acquaint yourself with the hoe index. YOu are charging what I imagine the going rate for a back alley blow job is.
well i guess i could have clients roam around manchester trying to find the place cos i'm too scared to tell them where I am... or i could show them. because obviously I leave the doors wide open with a sign saying 'free expensive shiny things in here'...
yes prices are cheap, but times are hard at the moment - and if i charged 50 a track I doubt i'd get much business from up and coming producers.
cheers for feedback anyway
You show exactly where to find 20 000 in gear. That is what we call in business idiotic. Give an approximate address, EDM and rap producers like stealing shit. I woulndt be surprised if you were robbed in the next year.
Nice looking studio, Bob! Good rates, too.

every studio ever robbed was at the hands of someone that knew about it and made edm or hip hop. this has been proved via double blind tests. Now that is just with customers. Imagine that everyone had access. you've just made yourself that much more susceptible. Crime is not random. It is always done by someone you know or have met or knows about you and it is a tempting crime because if you trip an alarm, you leave. You either succeed or you just act like you went to the wrong address.
I was almost robbed once. Guy walks in opening 2 deadbolts in under 1 minutes, says he is here to fix the plumbing when he notices me watching him as he enters. Leaves in less than 10 seconds. Had a Tupac for life t shirt.
And if you think insurance will give you your money in ample time for music equipment, well you have a nice surprise waiting for you. They will question every single item. As for receipts and take a very long time.
Thanks for the offer. I will add you to my list of services to use.
Nice setup Bob (are you Ian in the piccy?).
You mentioned hard times, well here's something I wonder about. Often Future Music run articles on new studio's opening, and the new owners don't mention the economic lendscape so I think either they are deluded, or juts very good at grabbing new business.
One in fact is in Manchester, a huge great thing with a massive live area (sorry I can't recall the name) that said it had quickly attracted several high profile bands.
Also I had a stern debate on a general discussion forum (moneysavingexpert - general discussion section) with this guy who was running a study of the music business as part of his Uni course and he said I was totaly wrong thinking studios were a declining business. He said I was too influenced by neg heads who didn't know what the business was really like.
Ah well.
You got any examples of tracks you have mastered? Your studio is about a mile from where I live. What's your student rates also? :-P

a showreel has picture. portfolio is the word you are looking for. And student discount on 30$ ? tell him to fuck off. You master because you are releasing a commercial product. student and mastering do not belong together.
in the UK, students get discounts. thats just the way it is. i'm always happy to negotiate on prices so that people can afford. to a point
In the US students pay to get internships.

and im a student studying mastering so they belong very much together. Take a break from spending all your time on internet forums and have a beer might help you digest that large pole from your rectum.
