And fuck you, that guy is not a right wing radical. I feel his frustration. It has nothing to do with Islam.

"When in Rome" is a bit extreme. To a certain extent, yeah, they're in a democratic ruled country and not one with a Sharia governed totalitarian regime, and as such need to follow the laws of that country. They shouldn't be expected to not practice their religion, not dress in their traditional manner, etc.

It's kind of a tricky subject, because "integration" is only willful up to a certain extent, and after that it's just forcing the mass' ideology on them.

So, he doesn't want to let people wear burkas because he believes they don't promote integration but he's also not a racist? I'm not saying that Islamist are right, but this guy isn't, either.

I don't think he was necessarily speaking about the actual garment, but rather the types of people who were wearing them in that area. His last point, I think, is his main argument. Those people aren't living peacefully in a society. They're essentially segregating themselves. Raising their children to hate white Christians and so on.

Guys, don't forget burkas cover the face as well. I grew up in Israel and generally in that part of the world women don't wear burkas, they wear hijabs which are fine because they don't cover the face as well. burkas are fucking scary, hijabs are not. If anything there should be laws about not covering up your face. It has nothing to do with Islam, but the fact that women are walking around all covered up. I'm sorry, but that is fucking scary, especially when you see it everywhere in such an old nation like England.

But very important to add, is the fact that they can be quite confrontational as well. I can tell you there are Jews that live a very segregated life and they dress up with their hats and suits and whatnot and you know what, even as a Jew, I do not like that one bit. I have been to many places in the Middle East and I will tell you - ALL THAT THESE ISLAMISTS WANT IS TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION! They will push Sharia law until it is the only law that there is. All that will be left is hatred and disdain for all faiths but Islam. These people only want DEATH to all non Muslims. Let them preach "its a religion of peace" all day long its a SHAM!!!

If England follows on its current path, there will be no more England as we know it today.

burkas are a security risk. As far as religion goes, i find the use of them archaic and demeaning to women, but the security issue is what bothers me the most.

Could you imagine if everyone decided to wear ski masks all of the time? If i walk around a mall wearing a ski mask for instance, I am pretty sure that it would be less than 5 minutes before i was accosted by security or police.

We had looney tunes a few years back that tried to argue that forcing women to remove them for drivers license and passport pictures was unconstitutional. Can you imagine this?

People should be allow to practice whatever religion that they choose without persecution or bias...that being said, if certain aspects of their religion do not conform to the laws or standard practices of their new resident country of choice, they should really go somewhere that caters to them instead of expecting their new host country to change to accommodate them.

If they have no intention of integrating themselves into the society of their choice, they should simply be denied the opportunity to do so.

Many respectable muslim people have done that here without compromising their religion or their ability to practice it. These are the model citizens we want. Those who seek asylum in a place they do not want to truly have any part in can fuck right off and should remind themselves why they left their country of origin to begin with.

If i go to a Muslim country with my gf, she will cover her head out of respect to local custom even if it is against our beliefs. You choose to go somewhere, you must live with the expectation of said society. No excuses.

not exactly true. try riding your bike through south williamsburg or borough park here in brooklyn after temple lets out. people actually will block your path. well maybe not you
