Ziptnf - Advanced Weaponry [full power psytrance]

A lot of people diss psytrance. I don't blame them, especially since the genre "full-on" has tainted the scene with an ocean of watered-down tracks, cookie-cutter basslines, boring melodies, and riffs with no energy. I thought I had divorced full-on, but I found my love again and dug as deep as I could for this mix. I've never played a mix with this much power behind it. When I finished spinning, I felt like my brain had exploded. This is my ultimate full-on mix, at the absolute maximum level of energy possible. I hope some of you are feeling brave.

Btw, awesome pic.
Towards the end of the first play. If asked to arrange five one-word descriptors in order of relevance: Intense, seamless, glitchy, relentless, goodness. Dull reading does not go well with this but I read that Kenny G rant you linked to in MD, and for some reason things started clicking and I plowed through it in no time. Don't know why I felt compelled to mention that, but this is a damn fine ride.
Excellent mixing. There were no bumpy transitions which popped my attention out of the mix. It was all very contiguous. Excellent work. Thanks for putting it up.
Thanks Eddie. Yeah, the goal was to make it more intense than anything I've ever done, and the only thing that rivals it in my opinion is my darkpsy mix from last October. When I was putting the tracklist together, I didn't know just how overwhelming the mix would be. It took me around 15 minutes to calm down and lower my heart rate after I was done recording. Yeah, I wouldn't imagine dull reading going well with this, more appropriately a battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron
Thanks for listening!
very nice mix, thx alot
This is a very well done mix! No boring mainstream full-on at all and also no dark-psy, though still very powerfull. No complaints about mixing and also liked the overall track order, creating a nice flow without sounding all samey.
Thanks for listening, ertbert and Soulstone. This one is pretty wild.
Pity bump for this one. Anyone else listen?
It is on my list but I need to be in the mood for full-on psy, I havent quite found that mood yet! I will though.
Did you ever listen to that DnB mix I did?
And where is that image from, its awesome?
Yeah, that mood was hard to find for me, but I'm glad I found it again to make this mix.
Yeah, I have your mix on my drive. I'll listen to it today.

| Originally posted by ziptnf Thanks George, or Chris, or whatever name you go by I wanna see if there are any full-on DJ's out there who are able to challenge this mix's energy. It's pretty wild. The melody at the end of Bliss - Hard Kore and the speech by Charlie Chaplin in the Brainwash track are just awesome to me. This mix has 80 plays and 53 downloads. Surely there is a full-on mood lurking somewhere in your all's schedules |
They loved it fyi
Final bump. I'm super proud of this mix, when I started mixing three years ago, I had no idea I was capable of this. Thanks for sending me to the psyguys in Toronto. Tell them I can travel up there for some gigs
