2 problems here.

A: you don't really know what you are doing. Just going by the demos.
B: you charge about the same as the guys say at Sterling sound.

You have no gear list, no clients and charge 100+

I could list about 10 engineers that charge close to what your charging except they actually know what they are doing, most have a grammy or at least a nomination and work with major label acts and have a gear list that would make most go dayum.

Maybe because his points are perfectly valid? $100 for mastering by someone with no credentials, no endorsements, no audio examples, and no gear list is ridiculous. No need to sugarcoat it. If a company is too stupid to get that, then I don't want them to feel welcome spamming this forum either.

Regardless of what he charges, I think it's inhumane to bring someone down like that. Sure his samples need improvement as far as quality goes (I refuse to listen if it's not MP3), but you don't just lay that shit on people. I agree it's expensive and I would like to see a drop in price to build up a more reputable career.

Precisely. There's no real hate behind it. Honestly, I've been the brunt of far worse on this board. It's next to useless to hold a grudge against someone just because they think you're wrong and have a pointed way of making known how wrong you are. You're faced with three options for success in these matters.

1. If you're wrong, fess up to being wrong. Don't hang onto being wrong as though your life depends on it. Fess up to being wrong and show that you genuinely want to be right.

2. If you're right, be right. Prove that you're right. Be a bigger dick than the guy you know is wrong, but the bottom line is that you still have to prove that you're right.

3. Be the DJRYAN�. Here, you get the best of both worlds. You have achieved the perfect nirvana of being both excruciatingly wrong but carrying on as though you're perfectly right and everyone else is wrong. Don't give a shit enough to actually prove anyone wrong. Just have the balls to be completely wrong in the faces of all the right people. At least you'll get noticed.
