Armin abt the House guys

Yo everyone,

saw this video yesterday and i was very suprised armin said this.
I actually feel the same way, house producers making trance tunes just 10 bpm slower and calling it "progressive house" (not quite sure how they got to prog house anyway).

im not a hater or anything, i think it's all very very good music and i don't even care that much abt the genres but imo there's something wrong to it.
what do you think?

Nowhere in that video does Armin say anything like that.

i would hope so since he makes house tunes, speeds em up 5 bpms and calls it trance

yea true this is my opinion, he says that teh house guys are stealing the trance melodies etc. sry my mistake!!

I would interpret that comment in a different way... more so that over the years any time a DJ that is more known for 'house' plays a tune with trance elements that it automatically gets labelled as house.

We know 'Trance' is a dirty word in some circles so this is no surprise... it lacks the 'cool' factor that 'house' has enjoyed
