Someone suggested that the random pattern ones might be street layouts, possibly of streets like those found in Japanese cities (if you have ever been to Japan you will quickly realize hardly any street layout is a grid).

The circle one with aircraft in the middle is odd, but might be a calibration zone for spy satellites.

The second one I am not sure, but looks like burnt out vehicles. Probably some sort of target range.

The really confusing one is the giant back and forth grid patterns near Lop Nur. Not sure what those are about...

I read that later photography shows the pieces blown out up to 3 miles from the center of the circle. It's made up of orange shipping containers and old aircraft. Surely has to be a missle testing range.

Also why does it say 'china is building'? The erosion and burial under dirt would imply these have been there for a while.

they all appear to be relatively old, covered by landslides, etc, but there are a lot of vehicle tracks that should be covered too.

if you look at the square part of the blueish landingstrip like things in that lsat link, there appears to be a glider or small drone airplane, and dozens of little white balls - it's heavily cratered too.

originally i thought those grids were representative of streets, but it makes no sense to build them over rough terrain and dramatic elevation changes like this, in such a perfect way as to make them look completely straight from space. The scale is wrong too, for streets - the widest are about 100 feet wide.

There are also a whole bunch of vehicle tracks around, clustering around certain areas, as if a part of some kind of study or recovery team, perhaps to recover top secret debris

I wonder if it's the product of a giant space-based laser printer.
