I dont really 'like' the stuff, wont socially drink it, but i can manage a bottle or two if i have to.

i used to love drinking beer in germany..but american beer is pathetic .... but just recently i had Molson beer from Canada..and i must say that is the closest beer that tasted like german beer i have had here in the states

i had some germans stay with me a few weeks ago and they all loved this one particular brand of aussie beer - emu export...
i found this strange becos generally, the only people that drink that shit in australia are the yobbos who walk around in singlets and short shorts and beat their wives..

this has lead me to question the validity of the claim that germans have the best beer...

beer LOVLEY Beer. i drink it all the time, its my fav and sometimes its cheaper than therest of the stuff. once i have had a few pints its onto the shots and then whisky for the way home.

interesting question at an interesting time in my life. I just went from going out for beer like 3 or more times a week and al the sudden just once. I sitll love it, but I can't just sit and drink like I used to. Tried and true formula for me though : start with dark, move to light later in the evening. Get the buzz off the good tasting stuff! Guiness is the ideal starter, then a pilsner later (often LaBatt). I wish there were bars that had Bitburger available, can only buy it at the store though... Bloody Marys rule, but only with good high-dollar vodka
