There used to be some well known promoters that brought in a lot of psytrance. "Tsunami trance" Not sure if they are still around. I also know Sullivan room had been throwing parties on a weekday. I wish there were more parties since these were the first parties I went to. I remember seeing Astral Projection at Arc years ago.

search at rave forums. locals that play them are mixed in the "rave" events. look up NYCRaves or New Rave Order
