How can people listen to this shit?
Well I've already hated mainstream music for years, but this still takes the cake for me. Oh well, the brainless masses can continue to be spoon-fed with crap, I'll continue to dig for better shit, which as far as Skrillex's style is involved, really isn't that difficult.
It is commercial music. 90% of the people that mainly listen to it are musically ignorant.

Linkin Park totally deserves this Grammy Nomination.

skrillex with a grammy that would be an insult to many talented musicians that got it back then, definitely grammys are a joke also.

Skrillex deserves a Grammy hands down.
No one has had a bigger impact in the electronic music scene than him.
Why are you people surprised? And why do you care?
This is an organization which snubbed Carl Craig. What did you expect?
The electronic/dance section is just a token genre for the Grammys. It's just there so no one calls them out for a lack of diversity. I don't think that it ever reflected the wide scene of electronic music. I don't think the organizers even listen to it. The mainstream music of America is a rock and pop fraternity, and always will be so it is no surprise that Skrillex was nominated, and it's no surprise that bro=dubstep is big. America is pretty damned rockist.
James Blake didn't get a nomination, but he was nominated for a Mercury prize...they wouldn't even consider Burial or Blake for a prize here in the USA because it is way too obscure and juvenile to the ears of the American music illuminatti.
