Aeron Aether [Progressive breaks]

I thought I would start an appreciation thread for this great producer. i mean, i could have started one about many others but I have chosen him for this incredible consistency within the progressive breaks genre. hes very atmospheric with a low swell bassline most of the time, he enjoys to incorporate strings and violins, wonderful musicianship -- progressions coupled with a nice dose of creativity.

so if you havent checked him out, you should give him a listen!(no i am not affiliated in any way, just a big fan)

Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic - Connection (Aeron Aether Remix)

Aeron Aether - Aeristhesia

Elfsong & Aeron Aether - Kaivalya

Evave - Rain Castle (Aeron Aether Remix)

Python - Freedom (Aeron Aether Remix)

Elfsong - Eta Carinae (Aeron Aether Remix)

feel free to post more, or dig around his discography, he is usually associated with very quality acts such as elfsong.

My

I've loved Aeron Aether since his first productions, this guy has some serious talent. Personally, I feel his production values totally correspond with mine........... Except I'm not as good

My personal favourite of his, over the past year has to be this one....

I still love playing it out.

I also travelled to see him live at a warm up party in Leeds this year (I think it was a pre-party for Hardwicks last ever club set).... it was totally worth the journey.

Very true. He's familiar to us, but I don't think he's got the recognition he truly deserves, as I firmly believe he's one of more talented producers out there.

Anyway, here's another and probably more popular tune of his, that I've been playing out this year...

Not at all, as far as I'm aware! I wasn't planning on going to the pre-party at all, but then I realised Aeron was playing and it was literally a case of getting straight into my car and booting it across the country to see him.

He did indeed, he's a great DJ. His set wasn't all progressive breaks either (although that would of been most welcome), most of his set was progressive house, intertwined with his Aether breaks twist.

I'm sure he's had a podcast (or something) available at some point, but I'm unable to dig it out right now, I'll have a search when I get back to my hotel.

I would love to see him perform again, but I've not seen him on a line up since

That track is from 2009, mate.

And I vaguely remember that pre-party thing. I can't remember why I didn't go, I think I didn't realise it was happening until it was too late, or something like that.

I do like the odd Aeron Aether track, such as Twilight and Abandon, and I did close one of my most popular TA mixes with his remix of Chris Drifter & Ronyo - Disconnected Illusions, which is a beautiful track. I don't really get on board with his sound, though. It's hard to describe, it's like his melodies are always a bit too chirpy and happy, and most of his tracks sound the same.

I've only heard a couple of his tracks, but Aeristhesia made a big impression on me, and I only heard that one earlier this year. He's ok in my book.
