when i was seven, i took apart my family's metal detector, figured out what was wrong, and replaced (soldered) them.
it worked much better than ever before and my Family was like WTF!!!!

for xmas that year i got this;



much fun was had with electronics that year, especially when i started implementing devices found around the house . . .



worst present-
never really thought about it,
guess because they gave something (tried)
