Logic Question

Hey, been looking around the internets and logic manual but cant seem to find a solution.

In logic 9.1.5 when you copy a midi part it asked if you want to copy the automation also. But for some reason it no longer ask or copy's the automation.
It does this for all projects now.
Any help appreciated.

Preferences > Automation > Move Automation with Regions > Ask.
