Either his crazy-ass son will get in power and start being agressive, launch nukes etc (if they really have any), or his more moderate son, who people are apparently backing to take over against Kim Jong Il's request, gets in power and they start opening up and getting more democratic...??

I believe his crazy ass son was already in power before his death. I think things are going to get a whole lot worse.
