According to Johans official site, he will be playing in Brisbane October 19th 2002 @ "Innercity"

I saw that same info a bit earlier and posted a question on inthemix about it. Someone said that he and ULTRASONIC were playing at the same event. I know there's an Innercity in Europe, but I've never heard of one here. Either way if he only plays brisbane, I'll fly up for it. I don't care. I must see Johan!

Disappointing that he's not coming to Melbourne on this trip Come on Future, get him here for TT2003 -- with Marco V apparently already sewn up, that would be a most excellent lineup.

On another note, what's with superstar Dutch DJs and the October period? Armin, Ferry and Gielen all here within a month of each other!!!

Efff_Beee do you actually know where he is playing in Brisbane?? Because the only biggish event that is on that date is UltraSonic at The Arena and i've spoken to the promoters and they know nothing about Johan Gielen coming to Brisbane. Plus his agency has him playing at Innercity through a group called IC Enterntainment isn't that a big festival in Holland?? Methinks its just a mistake on the website.

Who knows eh? Maybe the promoters of UltraSonic are just doing a really good job of hiding the fact he's coming out. But i don't see any slots in the DJ lineup on the night and someone like Gielen i'm sure they would advertise as it would draw in the numbers $$$.

"Yes, he will play at the Innercity party".

So, he is going to be here somewhere, exactly I just dont know ???

Hopefully someone sheds some light on this one soon. Thats what they wrote to a friend as well who asked his agency. But there isn't a single promoter in Brisbane that will own up to anything at the moment!!

Not that i know of...his website only says Auckland/NZ and Brisbane/Australia all the bookings surrounding those 2 are in the Netherlands.
