Wuddup TA!!

Yoooo... long time no post. How's everyone doing? I haven't been out in forever. I never thought I'd say this but I've kind of gotten bored/tired of the music and the scene this past year. I moved into a new apartment a few months ago and never even unpacked my DJ equipment. I got the itch yesterday, dusted off the decks, and went through a ton of my records.

So nostalgic, I miss the old days so much. How new and innovative the music was, the parties, the vibe, so on and so on.

I miss how producers produced their own style, how things were experimental. Everything is so commercialized today, every track has to fit that certain mold.

Anyone have a time machine? Hahah.

Hope everyone is doing well, I'm going to try and come out to a party sometime soon, maybe the Cosmic Gate night Massive Event is throwing at Pacha.

You're not looking hard enough, babe! I'm constantly impressed with some artists nowadays. With trance, not so much though. I haven't heard good trance in so many years that I can't be bothered with it anymore.

trance parties these days suck and lack the journey they once were

like you said everything is just commercialized and the crowd eats it up and begs for more, while your just looking around scratching your head wondering about where are the days?

good actual quality trance is def harder to find these days, but it still exist's
my fav label's are enhanced,defcon,infrasonic
they put out pretty quality stuff for the most part, not that bullshit anjuna armada cookie cutter crap

Eh. I moved on and never looked back. Trance is just too predictable to me. I always was more of a prog and techno girl anyway.

But no offense, Cosmic Gate are not the guys to see if you're nostalgic. I understand the new guys, but seeing them live these days leaves me very upset and disappointed everytime.

Hope you don't expect to come back and marvel at how amazing the scene has become in your absence because I'm pretty sure you will be less than impressed and go right back into hiatus lol Save yourself some gas and stay home and keep playing with your equipment

Miss ya nonetheless, if you want good vibes wait about another month or so. There's gonna be a good TA party coming up Will give you the heads up once it can be officially announced

I was just thinking the exact same thing. I swear the first 6 songs were the exact same track (??) Thinking back to Armins Top 20 of 2002 or something (when he was still speaking Dutch!) and comparing it to todays year mix.........*vomit* back to being productive.....

yeah this set isn't really going anywhere. his mixing is great but too bad the material he has to work with is less than impressive.
