Correct me if I'm wrong but the PvD "remake" is just an edit isn't it? I have TPOD, and the version on the album is the same as the original mix I have of Starchildren, it's just that it cuts off before the ultra wonky vocal section kicks up and (IMHO) ruins the song...

If you want an album version of the PvD mix in that case you could just pick up the needle before the vocals really kick up

Well, I've been following GotE for quite some time now as I actually got started on trance through MP3.com where he's been active for a while. Anyways, I think Starchildren is good but it is a bit overbearing -- the PvD mix is better. Having said that he's done various other productions that are far better than Starchildren:

(from best to worst)

One Moon Circling (Darkside Mix)
Dawn Forever
Near Proxima
Remember

The Darkside Mix of One Moon Circling is much better than the original and is harder and more powerful with a nice breakbeat bit in the middle and a greatly decreased vocal content. Certainly my favourite GotE production. Dawn Forever is a purely instrumental trance anthem that is uplifting without straying into the realm of cheese, as is Near Proxima. Remember is quite heavy on the vocals, so if you didn't like Starchildren you won't like this one -- however the melody line is much more subtle and it's overall a far better track. Could do with a dub of some sort. In any event I think he's quite a good artist as far as MP3.com talent goes (obviously PvD agreed) and not all his stuff is cheese on toast.

No, I don't think they ever got released. The Darkside mix of One Moon Circling might have, the others I doubt. I got them all of his mp3.com site back in the day. If I can dig up the file I could send it to you, though.
