Hey y'all,
Just wonderin if u guys had some more sites like this...
A shame there arent that much updates....STILL THE BEST SITE I'VE SEEN!!!! And this forum is probably one of the biggest on the net...Love it!!!
yeah, the forum is really the greatest in trance I have ever seen.
If there were more updates (like 20 new tracks a week) there would be no need for me for another site because trancEaddict has not that much updates but the quality is mostly very well. But unless the updates are so rarely I often visit Shadow-Zone for new trance tracks.
I'd have to agree. The forum's good, and I'm not dissing the site in anyway as there are some good uploads, but when there are sites like Shadowzone with awesome webspace, it's hard to compete with them. 
And "Hazza" there are bigger forums! www.homeofmusic.com has almost 4200 members! I'd say this one (tranceaddict) has just as much if not more activity though 
Thing is with shadowzone and all these other sites with half a million mp3's updated every week, is that you have to dig thru all the shite tracks (which there are a lot of, all for some reason with amazing scores out of 10...) to get to the good ones. With trancEaddict, theres no need, u have a 98% chance of the tune u d/l from here bein a crackin tune.. as someone already said its quality not quantity
As for the forums, they speak for themselves... no-where comes close

I've visited this site for not too long now, about two weeks, and all the tracks i D/L are all awesome
Just checked ShadowZone, and i think itll be usefull in the future when i need some hard-to-find-tracks
Wich brings me to this: does anyone know Santos - 3,2,1 Fire?
I searched on the net and Napster/File Funnel, But i cant seem to find it. Ne one have it and willing to send it?

yes yes..there is no better forum out there than TA. i mean the activity that is found here is absolutely incredible! a perfect example of this is alllll the regulars that spend hours and hours on here daily, contributing and such. THEE place to be when it comes to trance for sure.

Find another site that has over 7+ gigs of stuff available for download daily with very few dead links and can handle 7000+ visitors a day.

As for Shadow Zone... yes they update with a lot of tracks but they just throw up a listing - it's up to you to find the good stuff... Trust me, it would save me a SHITLOAD of time if I just got the new stuff daily, threw up a link to the filenames and didn't describe em/listen to them at all
Instead I go through the trouble of listening to all the shit before I find the good stuff to post
..this won't ever change, so get used to it.
the one thing i have against this site is that it is so slow.
going to a new thread takes forever to load.
and its because of people's signature files.
sig files aren't cool. i don't know who told you they are.
ehh..? i don't find any trouble going from thread to thread. i was over at my bud's house and he's on a 33.6 and this site loaded perfectly fine...

yeah its slow at times. but shit, a month ago it wouldnt even be able to handle the amount of users that come on all at once now. and yeah sometimes it takes forever for pages to load but good shit is worth waiting for. this is a very informative site. or we wouldnt be coming here.
i think we're the only forum thats talked about starting a label. hehe. thats pimp, right there.

Hey Mark, No offense, but i have to disagree on the speed of this site. Opening a new thread may take ages on your system, but I haven't experienced any troubles so far... :-)

No worries...
The thing is... just because I don't update over a period of a few days doesn't mean I'm slacking off Managing all the servers, cycling files based upon server load so that they can handle the traffic, answering email - and looking for new shit to post eats up all of my time.
Not to mention the other crap i'm working on...thank god for partying every week, or else i'd just lose it

TA - *****
We all know this one
Pros: The Best liveset site. Good singles. Good Reviews. A lot of effort gone in2 it. Good community.
Cons: Slow interface. Very nice link protection but getright dont catch the clicks, and the the window closes so i hafta go in and get the links manually.
Technodron - *****
On par with TA if not better. All thier stuff is hosted on 1 server. Which is very good.
Pros: Fast. Good Server. Great Music. Loads of Sections.
Cons: ??? No Real Community (growing_
ShadowZone - *****
Ok now i know u all hate this but this site is absolutely amazing. Really!
Pros: So much regular music (proper rels) on 4 mirrors at a time. They give u the whole vinyl/cd etc to listen 2 so u can find the best mixes.
Cons: Crappy EXE files 2 download. No comments.
MTP - ****
Good Music. Shitty Servers.
Pros: Fast. Great Music. Some Rare Livesets.
Cons: Shitty MyPlay as server. Filez split up in2 a million bits.
( I am helping MTP with the server part so they should be up and running in not too long )
Promos4DJ's - **** currently ***** for old site ***** for community
Used to be an amazing Promo DJ site until it had 40gb/day transfers. Now a Community
Pros: Now has a great community. Used to be up towards the 9000 member mark.
Cons: Looks shitty. Now only has DCN official posts which are on like tripod linx and shit.
MP3 Crack House - ****
Great Diverse and Large site lacks good servers... last time i checked.
Pros: Diverse music, good releases.
Cons: I mean who uses tripod (to host mp3s) anyway ... ?
well theres the wrap up. I think im forgetting some other sites. Like MP3 Factory and Tra-xXx and more...
But they are the best sites. My pick would have to be technodron for music (mainly because of the qual of music - which TA has - with the fast interface and good servers.)
My fingers are getting tired so i'll shut up.
