Need a live-in nanny for six months, any recommendations/references?
I need a live-in nanny for about six months and have some reservations about someone living in my home around my little guy obviously. I know there are lots of agencies that specialize in this type of thing but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Any recommendations or references for a certain nanny or agency would be very helpful.
Thanks, I appreciate any help!
My best friend runs a placement service for live-in and live-out caregivers. They've been doing it for going on 5 years now and have been quite successful matching families with suitable help. Check out NannyNanny.ca or pm me for his personal contact details. Good luck!

| Originally posted by cammaxwell Well, since I'm looking for someone short term it's pretty tough. Most nanny's are looking for longer term employment and aren't interested in 4-6 months. I have been talking to some Au Pairs, which seems like the best option at this point since they are usually younger students looking to see a new country and don't mind the short term thing. Would still prefer a personal reference from someone but that's been tough. I talked to the suggestion above (thanks again LightsOut) but was told again that short term is tough. I'll keep you posted... |
