Hippies weren't exactly fond of capitalism. Despite its shortcomings, I don't think there's a good alternative;
Hippies loved drugs. I don't even know what hemp smells like;
I'm sceptical of too much altruism, a trait hippies loved.

In summary, I don't understand what you're on about
