Come on. I mean how can't you. I just listened to Astral Projection @ Brotherhood Beach Party 2002 then I listened to when Oakey dropped Man With No Name - Teleport at the end of his homelands set in 99.
I can do noting but go totally ape shit!I just wanna get up and go crazy
Ive been getting into more and more psy and now live psy is some of the best trance Ive heard!!! It's fucking Brilliant. Those caning synths and that easily distinguishable Psy Bass kick. And the great array of sounds. And the bass just keeps going! No long builds or soft bits. Mind you I love those bits in Uplifting trance but it's so good in PSY!
I LOVE IT! I'M ADDICTED TO IT. JUST LIKE ALL OTHER TRANCE!
I want more good acid. Not the crap acid that comes out by hard trance artists, but good acid, like frank noise style.
I guess that's about as close to psy as i go, huge screaching 303's is what i'm after
Totally agree.I bought MWNN - Earth Moving The Sun LP(Vavoom!,Seratonin Sunrise,The First Day) for 1 fucking pound in London,and it kicks ass.I'm really pissed that I couldn't witness the goa/psy(Astral Projection is goa,there's a difference
) explosion in the early/mid nineties.Man,imagine MWNN,AP and Hallucinogen live

try listening to some real psy, instead of goa, and then see how much better psy is than goa!
goa is almost cheesy compared to psy 
try to get hold of some Etnica, GMS, The Delta, Texas ******t or Infected Mushroom albums/eps etc
all of those above fakking roxx!!!!

It's a bit unfair to call goa almost cheesy just because it has got some mass appeal (unlike 65% of all psy,which is so boring,minimalistic and generally up its own ass that only nerds listen to it
j/k )But I do like GMS,Deedrah,Vibrasphere, Electric Universe,Double Dragon,Bamboo Forest,X-Dream etc.It's all good.
Although I do agree that some of Astral Projection's trax have a lot of similarities to regular uplifting trance,i.e Burning Up(which sucks compared to other AP tracks IMHO) and Anything Is Possible.

That AP @ Brotherhood Beach set rules ... pity there's so few live psy sets out there 
Infected Mushroom has played in india and i had gone for it,he played an absolute banging psy-set i just loved it 
Trancey Ash I'm SOOO with on you on this man!! Psytrance just blows me away. I just cannot see how anyone cannot get into it even a little at least. I can't wait until September 14th I'm going to see Infected Mushtoom in San Francisco!! Unfortunately, here in Seattle there is not that many psytance parties. I've been to 3 in the last year but I wish there was so many more. The last psytrance party I was at I saw Kode IV and OMG I could not believe what I hearing!
SandLeaper and Trancegiant are so right. Verminator or anyone else for that matter that has quetions about psy and goa, please read D_Sub's very informative post in response to my question of what is the difference between psy and goa. Its all basically the same thing, depending on who you ask. D_Sub's post answered and cleared up a lot of questions I had. Here is the thread:

Personally, I think a lot of people don't give psytrance enough of a chance because they end up downloading shitty tracks and write it off too quickly. There is a shitload of psy out there and to me I think the majority isn't the greastest. Its like for every 50 tracks you might find 5 or so tracks that are top notch. What are some of your favorite alltime psy tracks everyone? My number one favorite track that still to this day I listen to quite often is MFG - Wonderland. If anyone reading this has never heard this track, get it now and crank your speakers as loud as possible. I have made many of my friends believers in psytrance after introducing them to this track.
Goa is what got me into trance to begin with. I remember first hearing about MWNN in 1995. AP is another one of the groups that originally got me into trance. Still love most of the old GOA that i have heard. I like the newer Psytrance as well, but prefer the oldstyle, 1995-1998 goa.
Im seeing Infected mushroom on Sunday, so should be able to have my first experience of psytrance at a party. Cant wait.

goa/psytrance is one of my fav. genres of trance.
i'm totally rockin out with the new 1200 mics album. crazy amazing stuff! skazi's storm and tristan's twisted sessions 1 have been getting lots of time in my car as well.
i find myself listening to more full-on psytrance rather than oldskool melodic goa nowdays (cept for astral projection and older oforia productions.. still have a special place in my heart )
