I can't believe it i just went on and because i have like have one Craig David song I'm violating telstar copyright law and i can't use Napster at all unless i send them my full name & address and claim it's a mistake. Well f**k Napster i'm gonna have to use Audiognome or something from now on. This happen to anybody else yet ?

but i've heard there are some little programs somewhere on the internet to 'un-ban' you, i'm now looking for something like that....

a buddy of mine had that happen to him. luckily for him he has another comp that uses a different ip addy so he started up a new account. but yeah...napster sux the big time when it comes to blocking accounts and shit...grr..sorry to hear that man.

woohooo an unbanning tool. hmm...it's only a registry entry?? well of course!! OMG i'm so retarded...it just might work...i think i'm gonna take a lok at this here registry key and see what's contained within...
the unbanthingy does something in you registry so you can have a new account for napster, right?
or else it fucked up...

hehe yea.. just a registry edit.. but it supposedly removes a key in ur regedit..
some of ya can do it without the edit prog, but it might take a lil longer..
oh btw.. the new ban might be an IP ban.. if its an IP ban.. i recommend ya pplz get Napigator, if you still want to access napster files.. Napigator will let u access Napster files without going through an IP check on napster servers..

Yeah I figured there might be issues a while back so I changed my dl and sharing files so only stuff I got with Napster would show up. Hasn't failed me yet, although Napster still sucks. I don't like how all the other search engines don't let you see the bitrate tho...thats something ill miss on nap. peace.

You'll probably all think I'm a bastard for this, but I download sets form Napster, burn them, and then delete them. I think I'm sharing about 2 songs right now and that's only because I haven't blown them away yet. No banning for me!!!!

Hmmm...I don't have any Napster problems. I use it proudly every day. I even have Madonna songs on my HD and still didn't get banned. There are files out there u can download that will get u unbanned from Napster if u want it back so bad. But I'm still gonna support my Napster till the day it dies! *Proudly wears his Napster T-shirt (and yes I do have one)*
napster rules. its gotten much worse over the past few months. but i have nothing to complain about cause napster has been very good to me. ive gotten so much music off of it and i still am. much thanks to the guy who invented it. cause without him (and swamper) i wouldnt have any of the live sets i cant live without so no matter how many times a day napster pisses me off. i still love it peace!
oh yeah. and about the subject of this thread. thats really shitty man. but hopefully you got it all worked out by now

If u think about it though, Napster is taking all the legal bullshit for these other programs. When Napster goes down the RIAA is going to attack another program like Audiogalaxy or something so u have to respect Naspter for just taking the beating. Besides, mostly anything left on Napster is some form of electronica music so I love it!
damn we may be the only two people left who feel this way but..... my thoughts exactly!! that is nothing but truth stated in your post. because electronic music is not so mainstream it hasnt gotten as many filters as other music!
And alot of DJs and such want their stuff on Napster too
Example: Tiesto, he stated it in one of his interviews. Although Blackhole doesn't like the idea though I don't think...
