What are some pesky words that are surprisingly difficult to enunciate (for you).

Everyone has them. You can't perfectly enunciate every single word that you can pronounce. Your mouth just won't let you say it as well as you'd like for whatever reason, and it always comes out wrong. They're deceptively difficult to get right.

I can't say them at speaking speed, I always have to slow down to sound them out clearly. And when I do, I feel like I have a neurological disorder.

I can remember these off the top of my head because they bother me so much and I've been practicing them obsessively to say them smoothly:
1) worldly (worl-duh-ly)
2) wildly (while-dhhhh-ly) [I don't know why this one is such a bastard to say]
3) ducts (pronounced duck-*open hi-hat*, not "ducks")

It took many, many repetitions to get these right.

What words are hard for you to say clearly?

"Conversationalist" and "literature". I'm sure there are others but that's all I can think of.

I can never spell "Wednesday" right. (I spelt it wrong there, too, and corrected it)

I swear that, somewhere in my PhD dissertation, I'm going to replace the words "voiceless alveolar affricate" for "open hi-hat" all thanks to you... you made my night
