1) Why do you hate Putty? One of the simplest SSH clients out there.

2) CCE doesn't require me to use Putty. You can use any SSH client you want. I chose Putty because that's what I'm most familiar with.

AbsoluteTelnet, but I don't think it's open source. SecureCRT sometimes too.

That's weird that CCE won't even pay for an SSH client license for you if it's something you use often.

Well, a lot of employees here have macs and use the Native Terminal client. The rest use Putty just because it's easy and popular. It's not that they don't want to pay for anything. People use what works and what they like.

I work in a tiny office, and from home a lot. No giant coke vats around here
