Need to buy a new Laptop and Pc
I know nothing about pricing these days.
Anyone have any good sites to check out?
I checked out canada computers but nothing is ever in stock on there.

My nextdoor neighbour swears by 'em - usually year-old models, but great pricing for what you get. Looking at their Lenovo selection for my next purchase.
What do you need it to do? Games? Office productivity? Media? Porn?
Also.. worthwhile reading

Budget?
Will you be carrying it around with you everywhere? or just on occasion?
just on occasion. Budget not much as cheap as possible without sacrificing quality.
im a fuckin mooch what do you want from me lol
lenovos are good and they aren't huge. They are actually quite slim.
Usually PC laptops are quite bulky and have no portability considerations. The Lenovos will fit nicely in a messenger bag (15" models).
You'll be fine with those without having to lug around large machine. Also they will perform more than enough for the stuff you've requested.
I picked this up online for Boxing Day for $479... it's $499 now. But before that it was $899 regular price. The same model brand new was $1100 on the HP site.

It's a refurb, but the specs are pretty impressive for the price.
The fuckin thing has a tiny subwoofer! And the beats audio by dre or whatever that is.
Good high end option
This will future proof you for the next few years. 1080p + 6gb ram = good for photoshop. The next step up would be an IPS display which is $$$
Cheaper mid option
Less ram (cheap to upgrade though), lower resolution (standard laptop resolution), still a wicked fast processor, bigger hard drive.
Both are asus, which is the hands down the best pc laptop manufacturer.
I've had issues with : Hp, Del, Lenovo
no problems whatsoever with Asus, Toshiba

I bought an Acer laptop 2 years ago for $379 and it's still the best laptop I've ever owned. For daily surfing and activities you can't get a better laptop for the price. It's very very reliable, I've never once had a problem with it. I highly suggest Acer for a cheap reliable laptop!
