Would keep it, much more distinct sounds than any VSTi on the market, with onboard FX nice retro feel. Not so clean Rolandish sound
If you don't need the money keep it and dare to be different to the current polished "me too" sound

nothing software couldn't do 7 years ago. But when people are selling casslic stuff so cheap, i will buy it and put it in the wharehouse and wait till the next economic boom.

Posted by jayxthekoolest on Feb-16-2012 04:40:

ya, the only saws i've heard that software can't do are the access virus' unison feature. unforuntately, that can sound quite trite easily

You do realize that an access virus is a digital instrument. Anything virtual analog is nothing more than a computer program.

You should post some tracks. Would love to hear what you're making these days.

who the fuck are you. Seriously, I don't know you and the only person around this long using an alt is iceland boy.

I'm a guy from the Chicago area of the USA. No need to think much more about it than that. And, no, this is not an alt. I just never used to post cause I didn't feel like it. And ya, you keep posting here all the time with interesting things to say, so I'm curious what kind of music you make. That's all.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Feb-16-2012 22:07:

i did just about everything in the last 2 years

I worked on 2 seasons of a pretty big show. I wrote the theme track to another which was renewed. I just co produced / wrote 2 tracks for this heavy metal / emo band. I did a horn arrangement for a rap artist. I sometimes play at a piano bar in NY if i'm there and drunk enough and the asshole playing knows me. I do vocal coaching for opera singers, Was a co writter for a video game guy that didn't really know how to compose. I am sometimes called to conduct. Sometimes, people just call me and ask if they want me to bang their wife.

But i suppose lately, my main thing is basically a consultant/producer. I am on retainer by WB so basically all those labels under WB. IF they need someone to make something that sucks not suck and generally people there don't have the skill to do it, they call in the nerds.

But i'm on vacation till april.
