Depeche Mode - It's No Good (BT's Twilo Mix)

Has it ever been released or is it just a rename because i have it on a unofficial release on cd

no, it was rejected by depeche mode.

Is this the same BT mix played by PVD and Oakenfold?

I got a Bootleg CD with three mixes from BT on No good...
And Twilo is one of them.

Montana is right thou, it was never officially released cause DM's Label rejected it.

[EDIT] four mixes it seemed, just had to remove the 5 inch layer of dust.

Rip -> upload. Gogo.

I don't understand how/why they justified rejection. They were solid mixes.

All four? or just Twilo?

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Feb-15-2012 18:47:

If you could rip all of them, that would be amazing.

I already got the Twilo mix in wav but it sounds like it's been recorded in a tin-can. Then again, what to expect out of a bootleg...thanks a lot <3.

EDIT: Jag ser att du har mnga sets. Har du mhnda Tiesto 2006 @ Queensday samt Paul van Dyk @ Mayday 2002?

The mixes are all very similar, which is a little disappointing. Usually his remix suites from back then had a lot of variety.

they are a couple of years old i don't know when bt bloomed, but it couldn't be far from when he made those mixes.

here is a post from grimreaper back in 2008, explains some things.

Unless you like to call mp3 sourced bootleg Depeche Mode compilations or pirated mp3s as releases. The versions on the bootleg cds and the mp3s are often edited shorter and/or pitched up to hell so your chances of getting the tracks in their original form through official sources are pretty much non-existent.

None of the remixes is titled as "A Rare Mix" either, actually they don't even have confirmed titles besides what the bootleggers thought they could have been according to BT's other remixes at the time which often were similar for example to Danny Tenaglia's, Sasha's or Peter Rauhofer's Club 69 remix titles. Depending on the source, the given mix titles vary. Maybe Oakey got one of these untitled BT mixes and came up with a random title on his own, dunno.

Brian Transeau Dub Mix // BT Trance Dub Mix (11:14, bootleg ~8:53)
Brian Transeau Full Mix // BT Future House Mix (10:30, bootleg ~7:51)
Brian Transeau Mix // BT Trance Vocal Mix // BT Twilo Mix (12:37, bootleg ~9:38)

Not quite 100% sure on the exact lengths of the full versions as it's been years since i've last been digging into them but they're around so.

BT was pretty much at his peak then, my favourite dancefloor material of his all comes from that 1995-1997 period. If you look at other tracks he did multiple mixes of, such as Let There Be Light or Blue Skies there is lots of variety from mix to mix, where as all these mixes basically sound like edits of the same track. Don't get me wrong, the BT remix of It's No Good is a classic track, I was just hoping for some breaks mix or something as well.

Back then they still pursued at least some quality control regarding remixes...

Is there actually any remixes that touch the original ? Only heard a few and they seemed to dump the best parts

The original is one of the best tracks I have ever heard.
