Wasn't the starting price last year something like that as well? $125-$150?

Well, the tables are even more ridiculous on that day

Posted by ravracer16 on Feb-17-2012 04:40:

Yeah last year was $125. I paid it because I had friends who wanted to go and never had been to LIV.

I must say though, the club may be one of the nicest clubs I've been to. And the women, my god!!!! And they were actually cool and not stuck up.

And Morillo played one of the best sets of that week, but only after P.Diddy and Will I. Am got off the stage. He played till like 7am which way beyond I believe South Beach clubs are allowed to stay open.

$125 is the deal on Friday....its $225 plus fees Saturday night.

Never been to LIV and never will go to LIV. Prices were crazy last year as well and with clubs like Space, Mansion, and numerous other parties costing half the price, I'll pass.

Posted by Kam on Feb-17-2012 06:40:

i went to LIV last year during WMC for Laidback Luke's party on the wednesday. Last time i'll ever go there. WAYYYYYY too crowded , wayyy too hot, CRAZY long lines at the bar and almost no space to dance.

But if you wanna see a lot of hot chics that aren't even into house music, thats the place to be.

Posted by Cool1g on Feb-17-2012 08:14:

Prices could hit $300+ for Fri/Sat night parties there after a few presale tiers get sold.

Thing to remember is LIV is not the same as Space/Mansion/Amnesia/whatever else. LIV will always be mega-expensive because it is marketed and presented as an ultra-premium swanky SoBe club. They charge these amounts because people do in fact pay it. Or they just get bottles.

In other words, it's not designed for the music crowd -- LIV is designed for the well-moneyed crowd that doesn't blink an eye at such door costs.

+1

they really don't even want to sell tickets and would rather just do bottle service only there. But if you are willing to pay $200-300 for a ticket they'll take your $

Or you can go see him with a much better lineup, at just as good of a club, with the same amount of chicks for only $40 ...

looks like they pulled a Swedish House Mafia and added more tickets .....

now up to $400 for a ticket.

Surely this is a new club record for a single general admission ticket?

actually it was higher at LIV for NYE with Axwell... i think $600 or something like that.

and i remember last year Morillo and Kaskade being easily in the $300+ range before selling out.

$400/ticket

Posted by ravracer16 on Feb-21-2012 04:58:

How do the owners sleep at night charging these prices??? Oh yeah, on pillows stuff with $100 bills.

Is a bj included in the ticket price? wtf? Will it be same price at the door? +tip for opening the rope?

Does the whole "I'm joining a table" work if you actually know peeps with a table?

Posted by ArminD1981 on Feb-21-2012 14:02:

what a joke I don't think any DJ is worth paying 400 bucks. its not like
they are U2 or Metallica

Posted by rkbrawl on Feb-21-2012 15:11:

I saw some video from last year and my guess is those $400 tickets are so they can pack them in like sardines lol

Posted by mar46017 on Feb-22-2012 07:43:

Anyone have an extra ticket they got at the "low" price?

Posted by DisBejS on Feb-22-2012 15:12:

i dont think any idiot in their right mind would buy these tickets at $400 unless they get some VIP access to LIV's champagne room..

i feel like this is just them trying to show off how exclusive they are...

Posted by ravracer16 on Feb-22-2012 15:26:

Seriously. He will most likely play at Pacha, NYC the following week to celebrate his birthday and admission will be only $30.

Posted by drEamer on Feb-22-2012 16:26:

i should have bought it at 175....if u could flip at 300, still a decent deal for both people

Posted by Dream Beamz on Feb-23-2012 20:01:

this show is a bargain.......... lol
