-- Question about Club Space before 12am and before 2am tickets?

Question about Club Space before 12am and before 2am tickets?

A couple of my retarded friends bought "before 12am" tix for the Minus party @ Club Space even though I told them to buy the 2am tix, and as luck would have it the rest of us bought "before 2am" tix; if we were to all show up around 1:30ish how does Club Space/Wanttickets handle late arrivals? I've heard that they sometimes let you pay the difference at the door, is that usually the case during WMC? Even if they do I'd imagine that at the door admission would be in the $100+ range for this night, correct? Does anybody have any experience with calling Wanttickets and upgrading the tix?

Thx

****UPDATE*****

My friend called Wanttickets and was basically told that they would need to buy new (2am) tickets and that they would also have eat the service fee 2x (eat the 1st fee and pay the 2nd one). He said that they would be refunded for the old ticket but it wasn't clear how long it would take to process.....

you pay the difference. wmc or not. and yes the door price could be quite high.

Also, Space is notorius for having a slow door so I'd get there no later than 1am, even with a 2am ticket, just to be safe.

door will be between $100 and $200 and as Cool1g said, get there by 1am. The line is significantly larger at 1am vs 11pm

What time does cover significantly skyrocket if you don't have tickets? I know if the sun is up its hella crazy. (but then you gotta suck it up and "charge it to the game!")

I bought before 12am tickets als. Plan on being on the Sasha boat party til 9, head across the causeway, quick shower/change, back across the causeway to Space by 11. In the party b4 midnight...

this all depends on how full space actually gets. no one will know the answer until its too late to plan for it. but it being wmc and there being a solid lineup you can pretty much expect the price to be high the entire time space is open.

like i always say, expect the worst, and if it turns out not being so bad, then enjoy it that much more!

Awesome, thx for the heads up guys. I guess the smart answer is to suck it up and get there early...... This is going to be a rough night, Sasha yacht party and then straight to Space pretty much, ugh.....

It has been a while since I've been to Space for a WMC event. I think the last event was PVD both nights in 2010 and I don't remember waiting in line that long for either night.....

Wantickets is pretty cool if you get one of there operators on the phone. They will likely let you pay the difference to get the 2am tickets providing they haven't already shipped you the original tickets.

The last time I was at Space was for Toolroom Knights 2 WMCS ago, and the door was very very slow. I believe we got there at 11, and got in at 11:45, and at that time the line was not long at all. I think we are planning the same for the Cadenza party and hopefully it all works out!

I was so surprised that night. I got to Space around 12:20-12:30 right after leaving Ultra, was expecting a huge line down the block. No one was there and I got right in. First time for everything, haha.

Space can once in a while surprise you with a line that's shorter/quicker than you'd expect, but better to be safe than sorry.

Yep, going to soak in the sun with Sasha, then the dirty beats on the Terrace with this.

What do you guys think about the Thursday night Ferry Corsten WKND party? Would 60-90 minutes be enough? First time going to Space.

I bought 12am tickets because it was a Thursday night and I wouldn't have to put up with the Ultra crowd.

Don't take this as scripture..... but you shouldn't have much of a wait that night. The terrace will be crazy, but Ferry likely won't have much of a lineup all night if Space has their sh*t together. But that's a big IF, haha.

A $20 bill handshake can get you in 5 minutes I'd say. (if there is a line)

Cool. Thanks for the replies.

Don't think you will have a problem especially on a Thursday/Ferry show. Last year me and my buddy showed up to Marcus's Sunday closing party at 11:30 and pretty much walked right in, we didn't even have a ticket...they charged only $40 for cover, we were thinking at least $80 each Heck we even had a plastic bag with a bunch of Miami Heat crap from the game that night and they didn't care. Easiest and best experience I had getting in to a club last year!
