Domesty - Far from the surface (Original Mix)

Hey!

This is my newest track, which i rendered before my soundcard went broke. I'll need to be happy whit this version, because i cannot change anything coz when i'm trying to render something my soundcard goes apeshit and it loops to infinity.

The key lead thingy is pretty lame, and i have that at the top of my list to change, but as it stands i cant record it now.

Some FX are little out of place, but you'll still get overall look and feeling of the track. There is some bad clipping at the end of the chorus and end of the breakdown.

Still it is what it is at least for now. I do not plan to get back at this when i'm getting my new soundcard, so i figured to post this version.

Can't complain at all, it was really smooth and enjoyable ride my friend, nice work so far.

If I have my wish list (only one thing to change or adjust) I would work on this kick (remember, just my opinion) - it was a bit either to loud or not properly EQ yet and was taking too much attention from this sweet melodic journey you took my on lol but again it is just me!!!

Pretty cool ideas in there, maybe some more side chaining on that bass synth, track seems to be laid back too much, meaning it could probably have more drive and pump to it.

Thanks for those kind words mate! ( : There are some points that are little out of place, but i'll just need to be happy whit this version.
The kick is kinda very dry and very fast envelope which is compressed maybe little too heavily, so it sounds like plastic and woody.

But neverthless, if you enjoyed even a bit, I'm glad! Thanks!

Yeah, personalyl the key lead spoils it for me. Dont, know about the pumping, like my pads were heavily sidechained, and my sub base was far more sidechained than high/mid base. Maybe little too free but i was okay whit it. Overall i could have pushed the limiter little more, but i didn't want too much distortion.
