Sparklers on Bottles
I gotta ask - it may be due to an extremely hazy/foggy/brain dead memory, but for the life of me... I cannot remember when this whole 'sparklers on bottles at the table' thing started. But it pisses me off.
I bought my fair share of tables at pacha 4-5 years ago and I dont remember a waitress bringing a bottle of goose that belonged in a July 4th parade to my table.
All i see in DC is waitresses walking through the club with flaming bottles that smell like ass when the sparklers burn out.
wtf. do they do this in NY? am I just retarded? i can be a pretty big douche, but jesus - do people really need that much attention for buying a table that they're brought fireworks?

Roman thought he was nice when he got sparklers like 4 years ago
They do this in NY. At this point it actually may be out of style.
I only saw this for the first time at Lavo a couple weeks ago. I've never seen it at Pacha but then again I don't get tables.
for the price of the bottle you'd expect it to be firing out sparklers at the very least
They do it at Webster, Lavo, and a few other places. Cielo doesn't do it. I think it would be more appropriate to do it if the person buying the bottle was having a birthday or something rather than just every time.
