Does anybody know this site "listnr[DOT]com" ?

I was just wondering around web looking for different things and accidentally find on this site "listnr[DOT]com" which has my profile and most of my tracks, damn it

I was just wondering if anybody knows anything about this site

Go and check if maybe you can find your own artist profile on it

Cheers,

Looks like it's just a glorified Soundcloud search engine. It's not really doing anything but streaming from soundcloud as far as I can see.

Lol, did you find yourself? and looks like is staying fairly up to date so far lol.

Funny thing is that in order to listen to yourself you have to create an account

So? The only stuff that gets on this site is stuff uploaded to Soundcloud, and you don't need to register to listen your stuff there, much less even log in.

They only have remixes of one of my tracks there, but nothing from Soundcloud. I must suck.

Google your artist name(s) and song titles - you'll probably be shocked to discover how many people are giving them away.

It's really not worth worrying about anyway tbh.

I agree. You can try to minimize it, but you can't stop it, unless you just keep your songs on your computer, off the internet, and out of the hands of labels, friends, etc.

Lol, you right Dave, this should be a new standard for measuring your popularity by number of illegal downloads

Think of it as free publicity.

Did you check if they let you download your tracks for free if you register user

Did you? I can't imagine they would if downloading isn't an option on your SC

Guess I just don't see what the problem is, nobody's losing money from this or anything.

Yeah, I think almost everybody with anything public on the internet will be on there.

I don't know if you can download the tracks or not, but people can download or rip from streamed stuff if they wanted to so it's still not really worth worrying about

Can't comment on this as I didn't verified if they can.

So you are saying that we not going to make an serious money from our music anymore, as they can download our stuff for free those days - so the dream is over for me - or maybe not since I suck anyway (as Rich is saying).

The site says it's powered by Bandcamp and Soundcloud, looks like it might even be a type of social-networking affiliate of the two.
