heard this in the background during the game and all i could think was

...watching that makes me want to go out and buy an IPHONE

funny that martinez bros gets slammed for doing a black berry ad but PVD got praise for his Hello Moto ad years ago..

TMB on the other hand, have yet to get get over that hump

what about diplo's ad for blackberry...?

not a big fan of them, as dj's they are hit or miss

me personally i dont have a problem with the ad, they keep it real for the most part with their music and their story
let the kids do their thing. they def came up and did made a name of themselves

in a few months if they go the route of shm,avicii,chuckie etc etc
than they sold out

Who are they?

Everyone needs to stop hating on djs for doing commercials and making themselves more successful, if you were in that position you would do the exact same thing.

EDM is full blown commercial and we've known this for years now, which is why I tend to stay away from the big name djs and stick to techno

i use to like a DJ before he was popular.

now that he is popular, i don't like him anymore.

does that make sense?

i think today it's more of dj's just switchin their styles up, not to push the scene foward, but rather just the fame

you got tiesto who is the perfect example. the shm,guetta,dirty south etc etc sound has been around for years so tiesto decided to jump on the bandwagon...it's not like this sound was really really new and underground and he was one of the originators
pretty much that's the trend alot of big dj's who once kept it real and stayed true to their roots seem to be going just for the fame

I could care less about SHM, but here's a really cool commercial/music video the did with Absolut:

^-- I liked the first begging of this video.. then it went downhill. and that music was horrible.

Cool video. The song is actually pretty good. They tweaked it a bit since MSG but it's still good, very uplifing melody.

that absolute commercial was pretty nice. even the music was decent, except when it got into that ultra-epic mode around 2:35. but not bad!

Listen people. We have to take the good with the bad. As our culture grows and spreads throughout the world there will be times where some things may happen that we don�t like

Being permanently scared after hearing Tiesto's new song with three 6 mafia

David Guetta being DAVID cheesebal Guetta


But I can deal with these situations if it will expose more people to the EDM world and bring new talent into our scene. We need new recruits. The Sasha�s pvds Danny Tenglia�s of the world are all getting OLD. The older they get the less of a connection they will have with the young demographic.


With that being said. Bring on the cheesy commercials with our favorite djs!

True, we need the cheese to bring in new people, then those that care to dig deeper will find the good stuff.
