Lord of the Rings - A MUST SEE

I watched Lord of the Rings - the fellowship of the ring last night. It was a superb movie. i never expected it to be so good. i thought it was just going to be about magic and crap.

The special affects were great and the orcs must be the ugliest basterds alive.

I know the 2nd part to the trilogy was out in the cinema a while ago but can u rent it yet??

err. the second part , "the Two Towers" won't be in cinemas till december 2002 Great movie though... Which reminds me.... I have to get the special edition dvd

Yeh Twas a great movie. It's action and entertainment the whole way through. You would never think it was 3 hours it goes so quick!

It's been the only movie ever that I've actually fallen asleep while watching...

I don't like fantasy... I don't like that knight/hero stuff... so this trilogy is definitely not for me

Crap movie imo.
too long, bad script, no plot, boring as hell, etc...
atmosphere cinematography and visuals are brilliant.

yes its an amazing film, the best this year (well it was early this year when i saw it) can't wait 4 the next one, that again will be the best in 2003 (i hope) its alos extreamly sad never though it would make ME feel sad aswelll

the fight scenes are awesome

I'd been waiting for this film to come out ever since I was a little kid having the series read to me by my Mum...Fellowship was about as good of a translation of the book as I could hope for, even though it still felt on the short side for me.

Hopefully the extended cut DVD coming out in November (about 40 extra minutes cut back in...) will make the flow of the movie seem a bit more natural...I felt sorry for people who hadn't read the book watching the film, it just had a crazy fast pace IMO...of course, that's probably just because I'm so used to the books at this point

It's such a fucking great movie, but the book is beter. Reading sucks normaly, but LOTR is amazing. The 18th december is the worldwide release (on mine birthday ).

Alright you may not enjoy the storyline (I do, I read the books when I was 11, loved them...) but you have to appreciate the visual/sound effects in the movie. The filming locations, whether cg or real, are probably the best of any movie to date, it shits all over star wars:episode 2 (which was pretty crap imho)

although the best thing about the movie is.....when I read the books, I found that the first one was sooo boring compared to the other 2 books...sooo the next 2 movies should be even more awesome....omg I can't wait...

Oh yeah and if you didn't like the movie you have no imagination whatesoever......go do some accounting or something...
