Ecstasy effects 'may be imaginary'
Thought you would all like to know...
Hopefully we can soon all drop legally... not that it matters,
Ecstasy effects 'may be imaginary'
It's fun to read how all the scientists, well read upon in the area, downplays the danger with Ecstasy, compaired to the "poor parents" and "drug-warriors-" who just won't reason with doctors and scientists...

the effects on the whole arnt imaginary, but are just what you get from dacning to the early hours and for so long! if any of u have decided to one night without pills once like i have you will see you feel jsut the same after!
i find that being exhausted physically from dancing and staying up late is a field day compared to being emotionally null (and just emotionally fucked for like a week), and horribly cracked out to the point where i cant sleep well, and just feel incredibly shitty.
so although you can compare the two i think they are DRASTICALLY different
Anyone who thinks XTC has no side effects is a wanker. Wait about 20 years, and wonder why your hands shake so bad you cant pull your pants down to take a piss. Your nervous system will be shot, not to mention your memory. "Wait, can you repeat that? I already forgot what you wrote."
How do you explain the CAT scans of ecstasy user's brains that show large parts of the brain damaged...holes in the brain. They say the brain eventually learns to get around these "holes" but it takes time and parts of memory can be lost.
The thing that scares me about ecstasy is that no one knows what users will be like when they are much older since the drug only got popular towards the late 90s. You could be nearly fine when older or really messed up, only time will tell. However, this is probably talking heavy use here, as long as people only do it once in a while I think they'll be fine.
20 years in the future? how about 2 years? thats how long i took e HARDCORE... every weekend just about... varying from 1-4 pills. im now having to take anti psychotics to repair the damage it did to my seratonin and dopeamine levels (yes, i know it was caused by the mdma i did).
trust me, its not fun to be emotionally damaged because you loved a drug too much

There isn't a chemical compound in the world that will not severely damage your body in sufficient quantity, not even H20. So of course it can cause problems if you take it regularly - so can DayQuil. I think the biggest problem, is that science has yet to make a serious attempt at determining MDMA's interactions with other drugs (legal and otherwise). If any of these are magnifying its effects, much lower quantities could prove harmful. This isn't that hard a concept to grasp - the only reasons scientists publish their results in such an evasive manner is because they're afraid of the political implications of saying it is harmless in certain quantities (which I suspect it is, though the research on both sides has been conducted very poorly, so it is difficult to tell.)
In any case, I personally would recommend against taking it until such a time as the health concerns surrounding it might be clarified, but if it's a risk you're willing to take, then have fun.
Cheers,
Arbiter
alcohol is still much worse.
Getting drunk every weekend damages your brain and your body even more than xtc.
And alcohol makes people agressive

| It has reached such epidemic proportions in America that they talk of Suicide Tuesday. That's because people who have taken Ecstasy at the weekend are feeling so suicidal by Tuesday that they kill themselves. |

I seriously hope you are NOT bragging or proud?
Anyway, Viagra might work to get you going, but how much of a jack ass would you feel to have to depend on that in order to get off each time? That would be a sad tale. Maybe even funny?
But hey, whatever floats your boat dude.
As long as you guys know when enough is enough. try to stay in the fun area of drugs(wherever that maybe)or you WILL eventually end up in the deep water

Oh, and when I've finished my three majors on the Dean's List at a very respectible University this Spring, we can argue as to who is the zombie ...
