Need help saving space from Turntables

Ok so I�m moving into an apartment this coming week and I�m going to have 7 roommates! So there isn�t gonna be much room obviously. My parents don�t want me bringing my tables, but F that there�s no way I can just leave them at home and get to use them every few months.

Does anyone else live in a dorm or some place where they have hardly any space? How do you guys cope with this problem?

I also need to get a table or desk to put them on, hopefully I can find a cheap one for like $50. Does anyone have their turntables set up on something besides a desk or table? Maybe I could find something else that�s smaller.

Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance. And good luck to anyone who�s starting school this week too!!

Well... personally, i'd be sketched about having 7 people living in the same house with my decks.

i have a small table that fits them perfectly, just shop around and find one

you can always put a table up against the wall with the decks and speakers on them and the amp and records underneath the table and face the wall when mixing. Should save more space then standing behind the table. Obviously, put up some nudie pics on the wall so you have something to look at
