woscar gets published

So, a bunch of people who obviously have no good taste, criteria or even know how to manage an online newspaper, gave me a weekly column to write about science, philosophy and related stuff. It's a local paper, so it's in Spanish. I don't know how many of you guys grasp the language of tortillas, but I'll leave a link here.

Let me know what you think.

P.S. Clarification if anyone from the paper happens to come across this thread with their sarcasm detectors turned off: Plaza Pblica is awesome and I have a strange sense of humor.

click through links via web logs, monitor it daily to see where content drives traffic and so your name is attached minus sarcasm meter

best of luck!

Are you going to write about how GOD doesn't EXIST????

Great article, and props on getting the weekly space on the newspaper.

Gotta love that last sentence: "La curiosidad no mat al gato, solo lo hizo ms inteligente"

Not directly. That strategy kinda sucks when you have an audience of fundamentalists, but eventually the topic will be addressed in a subtle manner. The guy I talked to there actually wants me to do it. They're not very fond of religion.

For now, I guess I'll focus on science, philosophy and how people need to be more skeptical about everything they hear.

I don't believe you.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Apr-02-2012 22:23:

Any of it! I'm skeptical, to say the least!

To be perfectly frank, I'm skeptical of Hal's skepticism.

Posted by woscar on Apr-03-2012 01:43:

It seems perfectly reasonable.

Spanish the language of tortillas? I don't think so, not Castellano. You meant Mesoamerica.

Anyways. I love Tortillas!
