Heading over the pond...(UK TA's)

Will be in the London, Glasgow, and Dublin late May/early June. I'm looking to get Coldplay tickets for June 4th, but all sites charge a shit load to ship internationally (of course), and no instant download available. Anyone have any ideas? I'd rather not wait until the last minute when I'm there and end up paying 4x face value.

Also, any recommendations for local pubs, shopping, etc would be appreciated.

And for your time:

I could watch that all day...

hey there, i can't find anything for those dates. Glastonbury might not work for you since it is held around summer solstice.

If youre after Coldplay tickets, Id advise ebay, dont give your $s to the con artists such as viagogo or equivalent! These sold out on day of release in November, from all official ticket sites (were off to the 9th June gig).

Dublin > you need no recommendations, just let your feet guide you. The place has a great atmosphere, with local pubs/shops in all directions - youll have a great time! Spent some time here with an American mate & her family the other year, they all loved what it had to offer.

If you're in Dublin definitely check out the Temple Bar district. The Porter House is a really cool pub there, and there's a small little pub called the Ha' Penny Inn that's right on the side facing the Liffey. That was always my favorite place. If you want to get out of the city, there's a pretty cool place called Powerscourt that's about 10-15 min outside the city limits. Really beautiful gardens with a huge mansion/castle that's been converted into shops and a restaurant or two.

Here's a cool shot of the gardens:

If you're looking for a cool club in Dublin, check out The Vault on Harbourmaster Place. It's underneath an old train station, and the inside is made to look kind of like a modernized castle.

As for touristy things, check out the Jameson distillery (free shot of Jameson at the end), and the St James Gate brewery (free pint in the panorama bar at the end). Also the crypts at Christ Church Cathedral are pretty cool.

FYI. Coldplay is sold out. Friend got tickets, and they all sold out within 3 hours.

Coldplay? Make me shiver. The hardest part is that the one i love was watching their clocks and yet still didn't get tickets. They sold like the speed of sound.

I'll get my coat, it's cold. I can see the white shadows in the snow.
