it has some nice elements in it - quite aviicci ish. I think it either needs more complexity, or more careful treatment of the individual sounds - as there isn't much in it, each sound has to sound lush and full - the sidechained pad sounds like it comes straight from nexus for example, you could subtly layer in some other synths to make a beautiful and distinctive sound there

hope this helps

That kick is way too thumpy and boxy IMO.

The complextro part has the biggest characteristic flaw of new complextro producers: The individual sounds don't lead into each other to create a complete structure and instead just sound like sounds for the sake of being sounds, you know?

There are some good melodic ideas in there but the complextro section needs a lot of work, and I really, really do hate that kick drum :P

I liked this track actually except the kick. Its all kick and nothing on the top end. Take a hi-hat or something and layer it. That way there's a little more depth to it until you reach the part where your other percussion elements pick up. Other than that, the I liked what you had going on with the chords and the sideways lead. And the bassline where you layered different elements is all the rage right now- awesome!! Keep going with your productions!!
